Richa Chadha, Nargis Fakhri, Kangana Ranaut, and more actors who EXPOSED the dark side of Bollywood :
Bollywood’s Dirty Little Secrets :
Bollywood has deep, dark, and terrible secrets that are frequently swept under the rug. However, a few actresses, including Kangana Ranaut, Taapsee Pannu, and others, have spoken their minds and revealed the dark side of Bollywood. Examine it out.
During an earlier interview, Kangana said to Kareena Kapoor Khan, “Physically it is really taxing as an actor, and I don’t want to put a lot of stress on that, but I think it is emotionally and intellectually a lot more…
It has the ability to radically distort you… We abandon ourselves for days and months, and at the end we are twisted people that you mock. You (actors) are a mash-up of so many fictional and real things that you have no idea who you are.”
Taapsee Pannu’s bio :
Taapsee had stated in an open letter, “I’ve been asked to cut my wage, I’ve been kicked out of projects because the producer was experiencing financial troubles.” This was all before I made the film Pink, yet believe it or not, I still have to deal with the stigma. Actors in Bollywood have refused to work with me because I am not a ‘A-list actress.’ Producers have finalised my contract, set my dates, and then abruptly backed out at the last minute due to a larger star. Equal pay is a long way off; even the minimum wage is something I have to battle for, but I’m not complaining.
Chadha, Richa :
Richa had put, Bollywood’, a fictitious address between Bandra and Goregaon, in an Instagram story. When people require you to do something bad for you/your health/your job, they’ll tell you how beneficial it is for you and want you to believe them. I used to believe them when I was young and gullible. On the excuse of ‘freedom of speech,’ certain press peeps will write long pieces on how nepotism damages the business while creepily following any pre-pubescent with a renowned last name and dissing every self-made professional in their terrible writing.
Fakhri, Nargis :
Nargis had previously commented about losing employment in Bollywood for not completing certain things, “What am I starving for?” I’m not so desperate for recognition that I’ll pose naked, do certain things, or sleep with a director. It was sad to lose employment because I didn’t accomplish certain things. I’m attempting to live somewhere with strong standards and boundaries, but it’s difficult because I’ve been booted out several times. That stung, but I kept telling myself, ‘people with morals will win your way, maybe it’s not only that way,’ and that’s what I clung to. Be honest to myself and don’t allow anyone persuade me otherwise.
Chaudhary, Mahima :
In response to directors that want only virgin actors, Mahima stated, “The minute you began dating someone, people would write you off because they only wanted a virgin who had never kissed.” It was like, ‘Oh! She’s dating!’ if you were dating someone. If you were married, your career was done, and if you had a kid, it was completely over.
