WhatsApp is expected to release an iPad version shortly
iPad users have long requested a dedicated WhatsApp app, but the firm has yet to develop one. WhatsApp was caught testing an iPad app on multiple times, but it never made it to the final release. WhatsApp, on the other hand, may eventually release an iPad version after being discovered working on the Multi device 2.0. Users may connect in to a single account from four separate devices, however WhatsApp still does not enable users to log in to a single account from two different phones.
Wabetainfo, a website that analyses WhatsApp features, shared an image of the iPad version of the programme, writing, “Multi-device 2.0 will enable individuals attach an extra mobile phone or tablet (WhatsApp for iPad/Android tablet) to the same WhatsApp account in the future.” It is unknown whether WhatsApp for iPad will provide the same capabilities as the desktop and phone versions of the programme. WhatsApp is also developing a MacOS version in addition to the iPad.
WhatsApp is not yet optimised for tablets. This does not preclude you from using WhatsApp on tablets; you can still download the mobile version from the App Store or Play Store, depending on your tablet’s operating system.
WhatsApp made the multi-device capability accessible to all users after nearly three years of development. Users can presently use WhatsApp from four distinct accounts for a single account. However, only one primary phone may be used, and the rest of the devices can be your laptop or laptop.
A WhatsApp spokeswoman stated of the feature, “Multi-device means that users will have the same functionality that is accessible on the current public versions of WhatsApp Web, Desktop, and Portal, simply without the requirement to have your phone attached.” Our multi-device capabilities immediately improves the experience for users of Desktop/Web and Portal. It will also allow us to expand support for new types of devices in the future.”
